Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information DulyHandled ("DulyHandled," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the DulyHandled web dashboard, the DulyHandled SMS assistant, and any messages sent through them.

1. Information we collect

From the Contractor (account holder)

From contacts the Contractor adds

From messages exchanged through the assistant

Technical information

2. How we use information

We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not use message content for advertising.

3. SMS communications and consent

DulyHandled is fundamentally an SMS service. Phone numbers and SMS message content are central to how the service works, and this section explains exactly how we handle SMS-related data and consent.

How you opt in

How you consent to receive SMS messages from DulyHandled depends on which type of user you are.

Contractor self-signup

If you are a contractor signing up for DulyHandled yourself, you opt in by submitting the form at dulyhandled.com/get-started with your phone number and the consent checkbox ticked. The submission record (timestamp, name, phone, business) is retained as proof of consent.

Contractor-added contacts

If you are a homeowner, client, crew member, subcontractor, vendor, supplier, or other contact added by a contractor, the contractor must confirm that you have agreed to receive project-related coordination SMS from the contractor's DulyHandled assistant number before adding you to DulyHandled.

This consent may be collected during normal project communication, such as a phone call, text conversation, email exchange, signed project paperwork, onboarding conversation, or in-person discussion.

Messages may include scheduling, material questions, site access, work updates, translations, project coordination, and replies related to the construction project.

When adding you as a contact, the contractor records this consent in the DulyHandled dashboard by checking a required consent confirmation box. A public, non-submitting reproduction of this UI is available at dulyhandled.com/compliance/add-contact. The consent confirmation is recorded in the contractor's DulyHandled account along with the contact identity, the contractor identity, and the timestamp.

Message frequency varies based on the project. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, HELP for help, or START to resume after a prior STOP.

DulyHandled does not send marketing, promotional, political, or bulk SMS messages. SMS traffic is used for two-way operational construction coordination between a contractor and project-related contacts.

Recipient-initiated SMS

If you text the DulyHandled assistant number first (without prior consent collection), the inbound message itself is treated as opt-in. You immediately receive an automated reply that identifies DulyHandled and the contractor you have reached, discloses message frequency and standard message-and-data-rate language, and lists the STOP / HELP / START keywords.

What you receive

Message frequency varies based on your usage. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

How you opt out

Reply STOP to any DulyHandled message at any time. You will receive one confirmation reply, after which no further messages will be sent until you reply START to resume.

Help

Reply HELP to any DulyHandled message for service information, or email support@dulyhandled.com.

How phone numbers are used

Your phone number is used solely to send and receive messages related to your account and operational coordination. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. Phone numbers are processed by our SMS delivery provider (carrier) only as needed to route messages.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.

Carrier disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
